The inflation rate for trucking slowed a bit in July. A government survey of TL and LTL truckers shows both markets hiked prices only 0.6% in July. Long-distance specialized freight haulers increased their average prices 0.7% and local truckers of general freight actually cut their price tags 1.4%.
